This is a great marinade recipe for taking lesser cuts of beef to turn them into something special on the BBQ. I recommend using this for cheaper cuts of beef, pork ribs, and chicken for use on the grill the next day.
You Will Need
4 Lbs Cuts Beef or Pork (Steaks or Ribs)
1 Lg Ziploc Freezer Bag
5 Bay Leaves
1 pinch Sea Salt
16 oz Beer (Lager preferably)
2 Tbs Worcestershire Sauce
2 Tbs Old Bay Seasoning
1 Tbs Paprika
1 cup Barbecue Sauce
1 pinch Cayenne Pepper
3 cloves Chopped Garlic
4 Tbs Olive Oil
Mix all ingredients in a bowl (except for the beef/pork). Put your Beef/Pork in the Ziploc Bag with enough room for good fluid circulation. Make sure there is enough room for all of mixture to fit in the Ziploc bag and pur it in. If you have more meat, then adjust ingredient amounts in this recipe accordingly and get another freezer bag. Now, try to press as much air as possible out of the bag and zip it up. Then give it a few turns to distribute the BBQ marinade evenly.
Marinade the meat 12 hours in the refrigerator, or just overnight if you have less time. Minimum time is 8 hours. Turn the bags over a few times during the process. Then take the meat out of the bags and they are ready to cook on the grill. Enjoy!
